So I have made some updates to the site, the most notable of which can be seen right on the front page. We have added events to the competition, so check it out.
Also, I have updated the Host hotel info, there are a limited number of rooms block off at the discounted rate, so book em now!
This show is going to be HUGE, but there can never be too many competitors and/or people in attendance, we are incorporating additional aspects of the show that will not only be appealing to bodybuilders, but the general public as well. So Please, spread this link anywhere and everywhere that you can think. We want the absolute biggest and most renowned show in the sport, and all of Team K can help to achieve that.
Finally, on a smaller note, I am currently working this bug out, but it seems that some people using internet explorer get a bit of a "jumbled" look to the site when they visit it. I will have this fixed shortly, but in the meantime, you can view it without this problem if you just change the encoding on your browser by going to the task bar and selecting "view >> Encoding >> Western European (Windows)"

Thank you Tori...I really appreciate that. If you have ANY questions about them, feel free to just email me.
You looked awesome by the way!
Jordan, I have to tell you these are the best stage shots I've seen. I actually plan on purchasing some. Great job!!
New update to the front page of the show site.
Well I bet you're having a great off season and you'll be even more dangerous in 2010 -- if that's possible!
Excellent question...not entirely sure...either next summer (sacramento), or maybe even the Pro America this May.
You?
wow how cool is that. When are you competing again?
Raph...you have no idea...
The LW's were insane!! The crowd was going completely nuts while they were on stage...I got goose bumps watching!!
Just awesome!
The most important thing I'd like to say is than you to all of our volunteer staff - amazing group of selfless people. I'd shut the even down in a heartbeat if we didn't have so many quality people to help. All of the competitor email I've received have mentioned much appreciation for you.
Next to our staff - Jordan, Sean, Kori, Tony - we did things this year and advanced the show in so many ways that I can't stop thinking of next year, just two days after this one.
The competitors were as awesome as ever - thanks for coming to Evansville and letting us host a show that truly is all about you and your experience. I appreciate all of the flattering email and comments, but if you have suggestions to improve even more, we're interested.
Thanks to the judges, Charlie, Murphy, and those who came out to help with the show as well - all roles filled fantastically. Charlie made special mention that he thought the judging of this show was spectacular.
Thanks to our great sponsor - I've gotten more and more familiar with Cellucor's line and have been using products and they have been shockingly good so far. I mentioned to one of the reps one of my reactions physically to a product and he just nodded knowingly - "That's what I tell people all the time," he said, "you can actually feel it." I could go on and on with unique stories of our sponsors, but just remember, our support of those who support us: that's how we grow our sport. We had so many great local and national sponsors and along with our 5k/kids run and strength challenge, we will involve more of our local community and make it fun for everyone.
Lastly, thanks to our clients!! Two pro title wins, two pro cards, many best-evers and top-3s......just can't beat it. So many clients were at the top of their game, better than ever, and it really made it a freaky show to watch. You guys (and gals) are awesome!!!!
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the show, you were all amazing, and thank you to everyone who put the show together. This was by far one of the best atmosphere's of any show that I have been to. I look forward to attending next years show.

Thanks Raph...
When are you getting on stage again...I will gladly take some shots of you...
Although I might need a telephoto lens to get a close up on you, as they wont let me walk up on stage and shoot with a macro lens.
hmm...I wonder if anyone is gonna get that?
:)

So glad I made it down to hang out with Team K for a couple of days.
So many quality athletes competing. So nice to meet tons of great new people and see all of you again!
SO much to say I don't even know where to start.
First of all, THANK YOU TO ALL!!!! Thanks to the STAFF for making the show possible...without each and everyone of you guys, I could not have pulled this off. THANKS to all the competitors for making our event as great as it was. The level of competition was through the roof. Thanks to all the fans who came to the event and thanks to our sponsors for making this possible.
I am typing out an email to JC as I type this with the results. He will have them posted up soon!
Stay tuned guys...there is a lot more info on the way!
Great show this weekend. Got to see some old friends and made a lot of new ones. There was some fantastic competition at this show. Congratulations to all that participated.
Thanks, Jordan. I knew it would be great. Would have been good to see Mr. Murph too.
Raph...
I will get the results up here very very shortly, just waiting on a couple of things...
And similarly, I will have some pics up very soon too.
You missed a great show buddy. Oh, and you missed Murph too...
Good times
Sean, Kori, and Joe, you put on a first class show. Thanks for letting me, Eric, and Josh take part. I had a great time helping out this year and being able to actually watch a large part of it. It was a long and tiring day, but very exciting. Mary Ford, like Mark said, it was a great honor to speak to you....and to drive to you to your hotel! I got to meet a lot of great people....I won't list them here since I'm still pretty much exhausted and I'm sure I'll leave someone out.
I'll leave the results to someone else to post. I don't trust my memory to get it all right. On to 2010!
Results from the show?
.....you won't see much of the staff on the board now until the show is over; a lot of things to do in a short amount of time. Looking forward to an awesome all-day event! Many thanks to Jordan, Tony, Sean, Kori, and all those chipping in this weekend!
Mark, registration and set up is Friday afternoon - you'll find everyone at the host hotel and the venue. Thanks for jumping in to help!
Watch for results Saturday night!
I did send them an email but it might have been a bit vague.
I just sent them a reminder.
See you guys soon.
You mean you are gonna help out at the show? Awesome...If I were you I would let Joe and/or Sean know sooner than later, as they are working up the division of labor currently.
Have a safe trip.
Well it would be great if you could but understood if not possible. I know everyone is going to be really busy.
I plan on helping out a bit too. I will have to let Joe know when I get into town.
Believe me Mark...That is the thing I look forward to more than anything else this weekend. But I am not sure I am gonna be able to train this time around...we will see.
If anyone was up for getting together Friday for a workout.
My flight gets in early afternoon.
Looking forward to the show!!!
So as expected, Pro (and Amateur) registrations are still rolling in. I have updated the list below to reflect 4 more pro men, and another pro woman bodybuilder.
So we are now up to 40 pros! This is gonna be sweet!!
So, even though these are not finalized, we currently have 16 Pro Men, 7 Pro Women Bodybuilders, and 6 Pro Figure competitors officially registered in the Mid America show.
If history has anything to show us here, it is that in the last 2 weeks we will undoubtably be receiving a few more entrants.
But for now, here are your Mid America Pros!!

Terra, great question. Jordan/Sean, do the hotels have shuttles? Being that far, I'd guess not....from the airport to the hotel. From the hotel to the venue it's only a mile or so, but you'll want a ride. From the airport to the hotels, it's around 10 miles. We'll look into shuttle services, but likely it just won't pan out due to different times and so many people, but we'll check. Carpooling like this may be a great way to go - it's what I do at shows I go to as well.
I will be coming down from Milwaukee, WI for the show. Do to the distance I am planning on taking to train which leaves me without a car while I am there. I suppose depending on what hotel I will be staying at, does any one think I will be able to car pool to the event? Or if anyone else is driving down from MKE perhaps we can ride share. I also get killer discoutns on all the holiday inns around evansville so i'm willing to share my discount for anyone that is willing to share their vehicle.
Cheers
Terra Nicole
ooooh that was priceless. It's scary when I laugh out loud at these comments --- and I'm the brunt of it.
you qualify as a carry-on.
I wish I was competing in this show. It was great last year. Joe refuses to pay for my airfare from FL and my hotel accomodations. Weird.
Going to fax Sean my info tomorrow!
Can't wait!!!
The Finals are reserved seating and there is a VIP section....while supplies last ; )
Charlie mentioned the deadline for pros is fast approaching - just FYI for anyone waiting. It's coming up fast!
Thanks Jannette!!
much appreciated.
Hi Jordan. I hope you are well. Great job on the flyers. I can post some at work and in a few gyms near me. I'll email you my info so you can send me the file.
Mary...
Just sent you both...wall paper the town with these babies!
whose next!!
:)
And I want to start posting them in all our gyms here in CT and NY - I think I have 15 gyms I can account for.
Hey these posters need to be hanging off of every cow in Evansville.
Guys,
I have just updated the original post in this thread to have the new and OFFICIAL flier of the show. If anyone would like a copy of it to put up in their gym or anywhere else, please shoot me an email and I will get it right over to you:
Additionally, here is the flier for our strength challenge that will be going on during the day at the Mid-America.
This is going to be a super fun event, there will be team divisions, as well as individual, and a fun kids challenge, so come on out and show your support for the world of Health and Fitness.
We have a long list of awesome sponsors lined up for this show, as such we will be having quite a nice spread of booths at the health expo, so expect to see some great food, supplaments, products, and some very knowledgable people their to chat with about everything health and fitness related.
Cant wait to see everyone there.
I agree, great work by both Jordan and Lucas! Looks very professional and should promote future shows.
Any chance there will be similar video of the amateurs?
Very impressive, Jordan. You've done a great job.
You aren't competing so yeah. You could also take pics, which you do very well i might add.
Lucas
Aw, Jordan, that's sweet. Thank you so much for your compliment. I just placed my order yesterday. Anxious to see the prints! I really did love your shots. I've even had friends who I sent the link to say they were great pics.
