2011 Mid-America Pro-Am
Natural Bodybuilding & Figure Championships
Thanks for your interest in our event! Evansville has once again been awarded one of only five World Natural Bodybuilding Federation pro contests for 2011. Last year The Mid-America Pro-Am brought 97 of the very top pro and amateur bodybuilding and figure competitors from around the country into our city. Given the level of success and talent present we attracted media coverage in newspapers, television, and national publications.
We are proud to tell you that all of the proceeds of The Mid-America will be donated to The Shadow Foundation. Your donation will create opportunities for sustainable and culturally relevant programming to stem the tide of childhood obesity and move our youth closer to becoming who they are meant to be amidst significant societal and developmental pressures. Thank you for taking part!
Our goal is to continue to grow this event and use it as a springboard to launch aggressive philanthropic goals for the community. The proceeds from this event will support nutrition education and wellness programming through a multi-systemic leadership academy for youth. Our work is implemented with the support and partnerships of The Welborn Foundation, IMPACT Ministries, and Healthier Evansville.We are creating health, activity, and nutrition curriculum; enlisting the participation of local and national leaders, and assisting in the creation of student-lead wellness groups within every high-school in EVSC as part of the academy.
Our event will be held October 8th, 2011. We would like to thank our generous donors by including your business name and logo on our promotional materials. Please consider a $100 or larger Community Partner donation. There are other opportunities to be more directly involved in the event if you would like to discuss.
The hundreds of people this event will attract are, for the most part, health conscious. With a strong sense of loyalty to donors, we don’t view this as just raising money. We believe this event will advance exposure for all of us in the local health, wellness, and fitness community and will work tirelessly to make that happen. We couldn’t be more excited to involve as much of our community’s children as we can in a fitness weekend with an international professional bodybuilding and figure contest as the centerpiece. We will receive coverage in television, radio, and print media as well as event programs of which you will be a part.

MAC PRO Makeup Artist, Megan Melone
As a National Level Figure Competitor, Megan Melone understands what it takes to look your best on stage. As a Figure Competitor, Megan has placed top 3 consistently since 2009. As a MAC PRO makeup artist, she has prepared many competitors for the stage and watched her clients consistently place and win pro cards! Megan specializes in photo shoot and stage makeup and helps her clients look their best either behind the camera or under the lights. Megan’s keen eye and attention to detail has brought her to educate competitors and fitness models on how to apply makeup like a professional. She works with competition spray tanners and is quite skilled at matching makeup with competition color. She has prepared both amateur and professional figure/fitness/bodybuilders for competition on the local and national level. She has also worked with many photographers and directs photo shoots on a routine basis.

TanPerfekt Tanning Artist, Channa Clemens
As a former competitor, I know the anxiety and frustrations that come with tanning for a show. You work extremely hard to build a phenomenal physique and need to make sure it is seen that way on stage. I created TanPerfekt specifically to focus on the competitor and their tanning needs. We currently use Elite Tan exclusively for its phenomenal color and great scent!
My Complete Competitor Service is $105 and consists of the following:
2 – 3 coats of competitor spray with complimentary oil ups and touch-ups backstage
The Single Coat Package $55
1 coat of competitor spray with complimentary touch-ups and oilups backstage
