I recently competed and won my middle weight division. And almost took the overall at an NPC show. I felt great about that as I was probably one of the only one's natural in the event! Anyhow, I applied most of Dr.Joe's principles by luck I guess, as I did not know bout Dr. Joe and his awesome wealth of information until the day before the show. Well, I am competing 13 days from now. I am 5' 7" and at 178 to 180 super lean right and extremely vascular right now(Competed at 172 two weeks ago). I just don't want to loose too much before this show, as I had to continue to diet a little after my show 2 weeks ago. The only thing I feel like I didn't do on my last show was add in enough carbs on that Friday, and came in a tad flat/unfull on Sat. I only took in around 240-250g carbs Friday and about 1.5gallons of Distalled H20 and 850-1000mg Sodium. I took in around 140-150 on Thursday...and around 180-200 Mon-Friday on my final training days. I am planning to take in around 385g this go around, along with a total of 1000-1200mg Sodium. I took in 405g 3 days ago to see if I would spill over. I actually felt fantastic and that was with at least taking in 5K to 6K of sodium in on that day. ANY ADVICE ON THE CARB LOAD DAY WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!
