Cardio Question:)

When doing cardio after a week training session, I know that its good to do low intensity cardio. The thing is do you shot for a target amount of calories burned, a certain speed for a certain amount of time. how would you go by doing this. What i do is try to burn 300 calories as fast as I can, which usually takes me 25 minutes. The thing is I'll be on the tread mill at the speed of 6.0. Then at this point it doesn't feel like low intensity. So, what should I shot for?

Ran a 5k (www.cjsbus.org) with Cameron and Lynnea dominated the kids' dash - good way to start a Saturday!

Time and intensity.  High-intensity steady-state cardio, high-intensity interval cardio, moderate steady-state cardio, lower-intensity cardio....they all have their place.  Depends on goals, body type, how much time you have to lose weight, how much you have to lose.....so many variables to consider.  We need to break the topic down in sections.
