High Intensity Cardio Question

Ive been doing High Intensity Interval training recently the protocol as follows.... 2 min warm up/jog followed by a 15 sec all out sprint then 45 walk/slow jog...repeat this until i have reached 10-12 sprints then cool down for a couple minutes with a slow walk. This has really been working for me but i was wondering what everyone else does for their HIIT or high intensity cardio sessions?

Ran a 5k (www.cjsbus.org) with Cameron and Lynnea dominated the kids' dash - good way to start a Saturday!

Many, many, many ways to do it, Mo.

Try some fun "patterns" for variety.  Example:

Ride a bike for 5 minutes, stretch.

Jog at 5 mph for 5 min.

Walk 1 min.

Jog at 6 mph for 4 min.

Walk 1 min.

Jog at 7 mph for 3 min.

Walk 1 min.

Jog 8 mph for 2 min.

Walk 1 min.

Run 9 mph for 1 min.

Walk 1 min.

Run 10 mph for 1 min.

Walk 1 min.

Run 11 mph for 45 sec.

Walk for 1.5 min.

Run 12 mph for 30 sec.

Walk for 2 min.

repeat another time or two.....

Nothing magical there; just ways to improve week to week and have fun - work on progressing safely.
