Prepping for 2011

Hey everyone!  I'm back and prepping for Spring of 2011 competitions.

I have taken the last two years off.  I've gained about 10 lbs of muscle.  *see attached photo

I plan to kick some butt in 2011.

Love to all my Team K family,

Baby Girl

Ok, I'm not sure where the photo went, I really did attach one...hopefully it will show up soon. :)

Already made Punta Cana weight with 3 weeks to spare, easier then I thought (:

How did you do that? Great improvement Shellie! Either that, or the top was washed on too high a temperature!  ;)

All the best for next year . . . . .

The way I know I put on 10# is I roughly the same body fat (14%) in both pictures but 125# in 2008 & 135# in 2010.  I asked Joe if that were possible, he looked & said, "well, it sure looks like it!"  :-)

Thanks Alan!  I ate & lifted as heavy as I could.  :)

I was really sick and it seems after I got well, my body responded well to weight training.

No secret supplements just being healthy!

October Update:

I've been working very hard in the gym, lifting 4 days per week.  Friday, I hit the wall.  I was so tired I could barely move my arms by the time I left work.  I have taken the weekend off from training & cardio.  I'm hoping the rest helps.

My weight is 140#, I was down to 135#, I would like to get back down to 135# by November 28 (when I leave for vacation).

Weight training has been New Rules of Lifting Hypertrophy 1 workout.  I'm doing cardio 4 times a week.  2 spin classes & 2 Zumba type classes that I teach.

I'm planning to participate in Michael Thomas's muscle hypertrophy study starting in November.  I'm really excited & hopeful for a good amount of hypertrophy! ;-)
