Start of my training Journal - Intro

My name is Greg Notaro and this is my first post in a training journal I plan on keeping up to date on a daily basis.  I'm in the process of getting ready for two INBF shows this November..... well one INBF show and one WNBF show if you catch my drift!! bigsmile.png

I've been weight training ever since I started college back in 2002.  Of course my nutrition and training protocol weren't exactly optimal at that point but I progressed throughout the years.  A couple years ago is when I really felt I had a firm grasp on the training and nutritional part of bodybuilding.  Well, I still had a lot to learn.   To make a long story short, I met Jordan Chabinsky (WNBF pro) about a year ago and it opened my eyes to a whole new style of training.......specifically, an entire new way of bodybuilding.  I now consider Jordan to be a good friend and also the toughest training partner I've had to date.  I've noticed improvements in my physique over this past year that I believe are entirely a result of the different training methods Jordan uses.

My diet instruction is coming from none other than Dr. Joe.  At this point I'm roughly a little over 15 weeks out from my first show this year.  Already, I have veins starting to pop in my lower abs and in my quads which is miles ahead of where I was at during preparation for my first ever show in 2009.  So, needless to say I'm getting some quality advice from the best people in the industry.

I'm psyched and ready to fight for a WNBF pro card!

Focus forward...

Glad you got on here Greg...

And fight you will...I am certain of it...For all those who dont know...Greg is the only guy that I have ever actually seen yak in the gym in the middle of a leg workout...AND THEN continue to finish the workout!!  Now THAT is desire!

With the sort of size that this guy has, and with Joe's nutrition...there is do doubt in my mind that Greg will be standing on a stage receiving his Pro Card in short order!

Lets do this buddy!!

staying positive and working hard

Hi Greg,

Sounds like you are in a great place and at this rate, you are going to look amazing come November.  Are you doing the Monster Mash?

Jannette - I appreciate the kind words!

Jordan - As always, I appreciate the encouragement buddy.  I think everyone should know that Jordan came up with my journal title!  It is true, the only two times in my life that I yakked in the gym were on leg days......one being with Jordan.  It took a while before I started to get "used" to his style of torture......I mean training.  Plus, I started this prep with a lot of weight!!.....not all of it good:).

Whatever the outcome of the upcoming shows are, I do owe a lot to you and Joe!

Annette - Thanks, I really do appreciate it!  Yeah, my plan is to do the MonsterMash followed by the INBF portion of the Worlds in NYC the following weekend.  The initial plan was to hit a show in October but one of my lifelong friends is having a wedding that weekend so I had to adjust.  These two shows are going to be insanely tough but I welcome the competition!!  It's always more that way, win or lose.

Focus forward...
