I'm not training my arms anymore. They are their own entities. Pictures soon.
Welcome to the Gun Show!
Will they fit into pictures?
Nope. They're way too huge. I was in Walmart today and a guy walked by and said, "NICE ARMS!"
I was like, "Huh?! Who?! Me?!" as I looked behind and around me...;)
Tree trunks they are. I'm tellin' ya!
Nice! Can't wait to see the pics of these lethal weapons!
They won't fit in a picture! I'm tellin' ya! They aren't pretty. Big doesn't mean lean! ;)
I am dying to see them too. My ultimate goal is to have a super set of guns! (and buns). How do you train your arms?
Ugh! ;) I'm afraid I've made too big of a deal out of my arms! Ha!
I'm training with a 3 day split right now. Monday: quads and chest; Wed: arms and delts; Fri: back and hams
So yesterday's workout I did a lot of supersetting.
I warmed up with a few sets of DB presses, then started trisetting them with EZ bar skullcrushers into close grip chest press. I did a about 6 sets there increasing til i could only get 6-8 reps.
I used the EZ bar then to do bicep curls into tricep pushups into lateral raises into presses again. The tricep pushups got my anterior delts and tris, so my delts were fatigued for the laterals and presses. I did 3 sets here.
I finished with a couple ss drop sets of cable hammer rope curls into cable tricep vbar pressdowns.
I love training arms, and I like weight, but I'd be fine with a little less muscle in my limbs. ;) The weight gets the better of me often though!
Wow, I like that split actually. I have never split it like that. I might give that a shot next week. Its always good to change things up. I doubt you made too big a deal about your arms. I am sure they look amazing. I like to lift heavy too, however your heavy and my heavy are very different things!! But, I am working at getting stronger. It doesn't help that I have the wing span of a gigantic bird. My arms are so long that I bet I have more muscle than I think, its probably just stretched along my limb. Still, I could use more muscle in my arms. Funny how we are all so critical of ourselves (more muscle, less muscle). Its good though sometimes, it keeps us working to always better ourselves.
